Financial Situation and Problems
The current house size that they are living is 48 square metres which is not spacious enough for the family members. Their house is not in a good condition and is often affected by the flood since it is located lower than the main street. However, Mr. E’s daughter has two sons which increase the family’s member up to six persons. Therefore the house is getting smaller and smaller. Mr. E would like his daughter to have their own simple decent house by building their new home in his land where used to be his old storage. They have applied a house with Habitat for Humanity Thailand and now their dream can come true.

Financial Situations and Problems
There are 3 families that are living in this house. The house is not in a good condition as it was built several years ago. The roof is starting to leak and the wall is falling down anytime. The house is also affected by flood as it is located lower than the street. When it is raining, their neighbour would help them pumping out all the water. The furniture such as cupboard and table are damaged. However, Ms. Peeda has to take care of her nephew (Chatuporn) who is disabled, and also has to support 3 other grandchildren. She is afraid that they will be in danger because of the electrical short during the flood. Fortunately, she received the land from her mother and they would like to have a new simple decent house so that they can call it “home”.
